Budget Analysis

Spreadsheet Data:

DUBLIN, IRELAND EXPENDITURES:

Flight Prices $3,571.35
Hotel Accommodations $2,266
Car Rental $184.88
Day 1 $10
Day 2 $90.16
Day 3 $63.26
Day 4 $77.30
Day 5 $86.27
Day 6 $77.47
Day 7 $71.07
Day 8 $57.96
Day 9 $55.52
Day 10 $151.39
Day 11 $27.35
Day 12 $0
TOTAL  $6,789.98

For our final expenditure, we have reached $6789.98 out of the budget of $12,500. Keeping in mind that this is the lowest budget out of all, the group had to limit the expenses on random stuff and rather focus more on the food and whatever entry fees there were for the different destinations. In general, Ireland is actually not a very expensive place to go to, so that was a relief for us. The decision to do only a 12 day trip was also influenced by our budget, since the risk of spending was more. As per the tourist attractions, luckily they didn't have all of the places to have entry fees except for a few that were mostly museums, but other than that, it was either very cheap or free. The food in Ireland depended on what restaurants we attended. For example, more of the fancier restaurants like Arch Bistro, Roly's Bistro, and The Vintage Kitchen had more pricey items, and then the others were just cafes or bars (which are quite cheap). In total, the hotel accommodation included bed and breakfast for all days which had a decent price considering that the hotel was appropriate for all five of us. The car rental as well was since day one from picking us up, to dropping us back to the airport. In conclusion, our trip's price was a reasonable total since we passed just a few hundreds over half of the budget.

Day 12

Day 12: END OF OUR TRIP (Persuasive paragraph)

March 24th

We've finally reach the RDU airport with all of our luggage in hand as well as the beautiful memories of our Dublin trip. We are officially heading home now!

Persuasive essay-

Ireland is the place to visit for a holiday trip. With beautiful sights and tourist attractions, it’ll be sure to knock any other vacation out of the water! While many people might forgo Ireland because of their economic troubles and go for somewhere more popular, like England, they’re making a big mistake. Ireland has many places to visit that other countries in Europe don’t have. For example, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Trinity College’s largest library in all of Europe, the Dublin Castle, the Croke Park Stadium, all of which are only and only held in the city of Dublin. It’s also sure to be much less expensive! Considering our group got the lowest budget, it was important for us to maintain our trip’s expenses, but as we worked our way through, we found it was no difficulty at all! Another good reason to visit Ireland is because of their economic troubles. If the country brings in more money due to tourists, more people will gain jobs, thus having the people of Ireland, including innocent children, a secured and stable future. Dublin is also a very intriguing place because it has a combination of pretty much everything you would expect in a foreign trip. There is different food, weather, people, culture, architecture, and so much more in Ireland! Thousands of people visit Dublin for the same reason we had wished for, which was to experience the culture of Ireland. Whether it was the St. Patrick’s Parade or the Irish dancers/musicians, the country’s style was celebrated and exposed all throughout the city greatly! Having said that, if there are any enjoyable, interesting, fun, or adventurous trips still present in this world, Ireland is definitely one of those special holiday destinations.

Dazzling Dublin!

The inside of this church is absolutely breathtaking.
The crypt of the cathedral is also very fancy!
Starting off with a good morning, we reach the Dublin Christ Church Cathedral.-HISTORY. This church is one of the top most visitor attractions. The interior and history attached to this church is why people come to visit this beautiful place. The cathedral also contains some of the earliest surviving crypts; it's beneath the church being the largest in Britain and Ireland. It also contains a presentation, shop, and the Cathedral Cafe. It's been said that this church was a very common site for the pilgrims during the medieval times. Evensong is a what the choir there sings four times a week; very much known for one of the finest choirs in Ireland that go on tours and radio broadcasts. Day 9

Day 9: CULTURE OF IRELAND

March 21st

Done with breakfast at Egan's, we leave for the Temple Bar-CULTURE. This location is in the streets of the city where traditional music, food, dance, and drinks. The walk outside of this bar have stuck with the typical medieval style of cobblestone paths and dim street lights, just like in the olden days. The Temple Bar not only consists of the pub itself, but outside there are places like the Irish Photography Center, Irish Film Institue, Temple Bar Gallery and Studio, Gaiety School of Acting, and much more.

All of these centers are within the town square of the Temple Bar streets. In fact, the location itself reminds us of Diagon Alley from Harry Potter, because of the olden "town-look" the streets have still maintained. In this area there's also something called the Meetinghouse Square where outdoor film screenings take place during the summer. Since the weather is around 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit, unfortunately, we are unable to watch a film screening.

For lunch we'll get it from the Shack Restaurant (award winning restaurant with traditional Irish food). The price of this is $25.69A food that's unique to Ireland would be the Oak Smoked Irish Salmon served with hand made brown bread. We then roam around the other shops surrounding the streets of Temple Bar Cultural District. Dinner will be at the pub of the Temple Bar, which is known for its nightlife with drinks and Irish sandwiches, tea, coffee, and their famous oysters. The price of this is $29.83. Lastly, we get back to the hotel in preparation for our next morning's destination.
The bar ought to have some of Dublin's famous drinks!
Remind you of Diagon Alley in Harry Potter??
