Day 10

Day 10: CHURCH DAY!

March 22nd

The inside of this church is absolutely breathtaking.
The crypt of the cathedral is also very fancy!
Starting off with a good morning, we reach the Dublin Christ Church Cathedral.-HISTORY. This church is one of the top most visitor attractions. The interior and history attached to this church is why people come to visit this beautiful place. The cathedral also contains some of the earliest surviving crypts; it's beneath the church being the largest in Britain and Ireland. It also contains a presentation, shop, and the Cathedral Cafe. It's been said that this church was a very common site for the pilgrims during the medieval times. Evensong is a what the choir there sings four times a week; very much known for one of the finest choirs in Ireland that go on tours and radio broadcasts. As per lunch, we'll take it in the cathedral itself at the Cathedral Cafe where a variety of tea, coffee, cakes, and sandwiches are available. We will donate seventy-three euros, which is about $100.00, to the Dublin Cathedral. The morning, peace, eucharist, and evening prayers are held throughout the week; luckily we'll get to attend the prayers sung by the famous choir of this church. With that being said, for dinner we'll go for dinner at around 7:00 pm at the Punjabi by Nature Restaurant. The bill of that would be $51.39. We then finally reach our hotel at 9:00 pm.
The cathedral is very well maintained inside and out...
